I wish I had copied all the training videos from working at Lowe's in the 90s. Some were really boring, but there were a few that were so funny. One group of videos were done like Columbo. Basically Columbo was learning to work in the millwork department.

I worked in a small box factory in the early 2000s and the training videos were from the 70s and 80s... fast forward to present day and I found myself working at another small box factory and they have the exact same VHS tapes.

Weirdest training videos I've seen was Snoop Dogg and Charo doing the English/Spanish training videos for the Burger King grilled dogs. I don't speak much Spanish, but Charo was freaking hilarious and Snoop looked more "inspired" than normal 😂

I have collected Native American basketry for many, many years now. My favorites are from the Wabanaki and my favorite shape is the Urchin Basket. I have two baskets made by Jeremy, a Fine Weave Basket and an Urchin I commissioned from him in 2012. He also did a double-ring pull repair on a very old Urchin that was made in the late 1800s for me. I began watching his work early on in his career and I knew, "This kid is going to make spectacular works", but I had no idea just how innovative his new shapes and materials would become. Suffice it to say I can no longer afford one of his works LOL.
